"Iridescent Passage" is a site-specific installation designed for the monumental hall of the Museo della Permanente in Milan for the "In Y/Our Life" exhibition, celebrating K-WAY's 60th anniversary, curated by Gialuigi Ricuperati. The work is conceived as an immersive, multi-functional space to host the K-Way FW2025 Runway show, a series of talks, artist performances, and listening events curated by Terraforma.
The space is a multicolored amphitheater—a polychrome box with tiered seating and a vibrant walkway. At its center stands a large steel basin measuring 50 square meters, topped by six luminous arches each 4 meters tall. These arches reflect in a water mirror animated by hydraulic pumps. Luminous, motorized lights create atmospheric effects between the arches, while a video mapping of atmospheric phenomena animates the walls. The entire installation unfolds as a grand, multisensory spatial choreography, punctuated by a continuous soundscape composed specifically by u.r.trax (a.k.a. Inès Boullant), a Paris-based producer, DJ, and vocalist.
