Tall flowers-High Swans, Boston

Tall flowers - High swans

The Street, Boston Chestnut Hill, 2024

Photo: Amro Arida

The site-specific mural depicts a colorful scene of a flowering plant that rises from a pot and
spreads across the building’s two-story façade.
Characterized by vivid colors and the seamless integration of geometric and organic motifs, the
work is part of a new series of paintings that combine abstract and naturalistic elements with
subjects such as plants and animals.
High Swans creates a dialogue with its companion piece on the opposite side of the property from the mural Tall Flowers. While Tall Flowers rises from the ground, High Swans stretches gracefully
across the canopy. Together, the two murals connect nature from earth to sky.
Both murals reflect the connection between nature and architecture, echoing the vibrant and
natural beauty of Chestnut Hill.
